Spilled Food Turned Into Beautiful Art By Giulia Bernardelli

Giulia Bernardelli takes spilt coffee and turns it into art. The 27-year-old Italian artist received a bachelor’s degree from the Academic of Fine Arts of Bologna, and presently works with children at a museum. Bernardelli’s work is always spontaneous.
“I decided to replace the brush by what nature has to offer, such as leaves, fruit peels, or just the food” she told the Huffington Post. “I never plan my work in advance…For example, when I drink coffee, I reflect on the nuances that I could create if I turned it over on the table.”
